WORSHIP

worship, service, Calvary United Methodist Church

SUNDAYS: 8:55 AM

Worship is a celebration of gratitude for all that God has done; for the ways God has been present in life; and for God’s love shown through Jesus Christ. Children are a part of worship through a weekly Children’s Time and the monthly Food Offering. After the Children’s Time, the children leave to go to Sunday School.

There is a nursery for infants through 3 years old and following worship, there are munchies and lots of conversation!

SPECIAL SERVICES:

HOLY COMMUNION:

Holy Communion is a “hands on” way of experiencing God’s love for all. All are welcome to participate in Holy Communion in the United Methodist Church. Children are invited to participate with their families. At Blessed Hope UMC, Holy Communion is celebrated often. When we share in Holy Communion, we experience God’s grace through sight, touch and taste.

BAPTISM

Baptism is celebrated in worship as a symbol of God’s grace and one’s commitment to the Christian Faith. The United Methodist Church affirms baptism by all Christian denominations and therefore does not offer “re-baptism.”
